I believe in movement as a vessel for healing, joy, and connection. I have been both a dancer and a Christian since I was five years old, but it was not until recent years that the two identities began to merge. I believe that human beings were created with movement in mind, and we have the incredible opportunity to use that movement to glorify our King, Jesus. Whether that is through honest storytelling, unfiltered worship, or joyous human connection, it is my hope that every movement I make brings God glory. As a dancer, I am interested in finding new ways to optimize the use of my body as an instrument through trying new techniques and approaches. Efficiency of movement and being true to how my individual body works is extremely important to me as a mover. I love to sweat and to dance full out, being fully immersed in the story or emotion of the piece. As a choreographer, I am intrigued by humanity, beauty, and worship. Being human is hard, and I aim to showcase this in my work through embodiment of my own personal experiences and those of others. Psalm 19:1 says that \u201cthe heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.\u201d Beauty is moving, and with the right motives, it can point to God. I aim to produce visually pleasing dances that delight the eye. Above all, I have found through my own journey that nothing is worth anything without Christ. The third facet of my choreographic philosophy is worship because that is what I was created to do. If there is one person I want to perform for, it is Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
